Our Story

In 2015, Earthlings by MITU began with a mission to turn textile waste into treasures. What started as a small project has grown into a social enterprise dedicated to sustainability and women’s empowerment. We've kept over 1 lakh kilograms of cloth out of landfills by upcycling and recycling fabrics into stylish bags, clutches, totes, and more.

Our products are crafted by an incredible team of women who gain skills, independence, and pride through their work. As an offshoot of the MITU Foundation, we continue its legacy of empowering women in rural Karnataka.
